A training plan designed based on athlete's goals and individual aspirations. Whether you've been recently inspired to try a race - your first 5K, a marathon, a triathlon, a duathlon, etc. or you've been racing and just want to improve your performance, Michelle will create a plan to ensure a successful training season. Beginners/novices and seasoned athletes looking to step up your game? Michelle will get you started on a tailor-made plan. All plans will be accessible using the training peaks website.
A fitness program designed to meet individual goals including cardiovascular endurance, cardiovascular strength, muscular strength and flexibility. Sessions can be held at a club, gym, studio or home. It depends on the convenience of the client. Any gym fees will be paid by client. Client will need to plan on a minimum of 2 sessions in order to gather information (medical history, goals) and to develop a personalized plan. The second session will consist of explaining and implementing the plan. Number of sessions will be determined by coach and client, based on goals, needs and availability. Some people work with a personal trainer once a week, others twice a month, once a month, once a quarter, etc. *Small group training is also available.
Individual Sport Technique Analysis
Do you need a little help with your running technique? Would you like to improve your swimming performance? Michelle will critique your form and provide ideas, drills and skills to help improve your mechanics, reduce your risk of injury and in turn, improve your race times.
Lactate Threshold Testing
Michelle will establish your training heart rate zones, which help determine athletic levels, provide a tool for establishing performance goals and are a good measure for athletic improvements. Re-testing should be done periodically.
- Personal Training: $60/hour (travel expenses may apply). *Small group training: $35 pp for 2, $30 pp for groups of 3 or more
- Multi-Sport coaching/Training Plan: $140 for a customized 4-week training block, posted on trainingpeaks website (website fees are included.)
- Swim instruction: $40 for 30 mins.
- Run instruction/technique drills* : $60/hour.
- Bike Maintenance Instruction/Clinic*: $40
(hands-on instruction on how to clean and maintain your bike, how to change a flat, etc.)
- Lactate threshold testing: $20
